Mike
Old Red looks great.  The paint job came out beautiful.  I hope they get her stomach pumped quickly so you can get her out to enjoy again.  Thanks for showing her to us.

Mike, SHE LOOKS GREAT!!  Wink  Sorry she's having "gas" problems. Grin Grin  Hopefully she is pumped out, refilled, and ready to go soon.  Know you are wanting to be the one taking her on the road rather than a wrecker.

Yep the wheels help make her look very nice. I needed to get the mothers crome cleaner with the ball on her and then she looks like a lady.
I'm thinking of taking the low profile Kumo's off and getting a tire with a little more sidewall to not have the gap I have in the wheel wells.
The wheels are 17 inch so do you guys recommend any tires that might improve the appearance?
Alan, What are the tires you have on your Shark?

Front 255/60/15  rear 275/60/15. Mike you can go to tirerack & get actual tire dia for different sizes, manufactures etc. I was pondering going with 17" wheels but decided not to mainly for ride quailty. The 17" are lots harder than 15" & these old suspensions even though I've upgrade just can't adjust. So my little old butt is very pleased with the 15". The 17" do have a hugh performance improvement & will handle more speed , but I don'r race & 130mph is my limit ...beyond that is panic for me now Wink

Mike,Alan is correct in that the ride may be a bit 'harder',but I also have the complete VB&P comp. monospring suspension under mine, which helped with that some. And the handling improvement was eye-opening. Right now,I'm running 245/45/17's on 17 x 8" wheels at all four corners, but I'm planning on finally getting around to installing the offset trailing arms that have been gathering dust in my garage for awhile.I believe that should allow me to go another 2" in back. Will probly have to get 2 more wheels to make it look right? not sure Undecided  -In 17" American Racing,I've only seen them as wid as 17 x 9.5".Hopefully that woud look fine & still clear everything
