Recalled 77 horn button & lock ring
Jul 29th, 2010 at 11:02pm

I know the recalled 77 horn buttons are rare but I was wondering how many of you have the lock rings or have seen cars with them. Here is a pic of mine I just put on my 77. Had a hard time finding the lock ring.

I have seen them at different car shows and I really think they look great.  Someday I am going to get me one.

I think the only one I saw with the button and ring was on Binnies car.I have got both the button and the ring now. The ring is the toughest thing to come across. I managed the ring and several horn buttons over on the bay this past winter..........jack

I wonder if you could take a painted one and turn it on a lathe?

Here is a rare piece unassembled as they came from the parts dept. A real pain to assemble without the correct punch. This is the second time this one is offered for sale no bites the first week. Fleabay is dead

I had one of those on my 79 vette along with the original painted horn button. Sold the recalled button here to someone but I forgot who! LOL!
